Evolving Networks began by building a Network-as-a-Service platform designed to deliver secure, resilient connectivity to organisations across the UK. The business has since transformed alongside a changing technology landscape shaped by cloud adoption, hybrid working, and the rise of Zero Trust security.
That journey led to Evolving ZERO, a fully managed Zero Trust platform that brings networking, security, and cloud access together in a single architecture. Today it supports hundreds of schools, organisations, and businesses across multiple sectors, providing secure connectivity to thousands of users every day.
What they needed
When Evolving Networks first engaged with RapidSwitch more than 10 years ago, the objective was clear: create a resilient, secure environment capable of supporting customers around the clock. The team needed high-quality UK-based facilities that could deliver the availability, physical security, and resilience their customers expected.
Technical capability alone was not enough. Evolving Networks wanted a provider that understood their long-term vision and was prepared to build a genuine working relationship rather than simply supply colocation services.
How we built it
At the heart of Evolving ZERO are physical Network Fabric Routers hosted within RapidSwitch's UK data centres. This architecture lets Evolving Networks deliver the performance, resilience, and UK data residency its customers expect, while maintaining full confidence in the environment supporting their services.
As customer requirements have evolved, from software-enhanced connectivity to a fully managed Zero Trust platform, RapidSwitch has continued to provide the flexibility needed to scale alongside the business. New services, additional capacity, and changing technical requirements have all been accommodated without locking Evolving Networks into any particular service model.
